Project Scope
This early 20th-Century building, situated in a National Historic District, was reborn as an upscale Brazilian eatery. Marlon Lynn Architect, PA, provided design and construction management for all phases of the project-demolition to furnishings and decor.
2015 Demolition Notes:
- Over 60 tons of materials were removed from existing structure
- Removed plaster and paint revealed 40 tons of hardwood that dated to the late 1800s
- 13 tons of reclaimed wood went to Orlando to be re-purposed into dining tables and furniture for Posto 9
- 12 original doors and frames were reinstalled throughout the restaurant
Project Details:
- 3,500 sq. ft of restored hardwood flooring
- 90% of the original brick was repurposed or untouched
- 3,800 sq.ft of open area
- 14,000 sf. ft. Restaurant, Event Space, Lounge, and Rooftop Restaurant
